Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
तत्र देवास्त्रयस्त्रिंशत् तिष्ठन्ति सहवासवा: । गन्धर्वा राक्षसा: सर्पा: पितरक्ष महर्षिभि:
tatra devās trayastriṁśat tiṣṭhanti sahavāsavāḥ | gandharvā rākṣasāḥ sarpāḥ pitarakṣa maharṣibhiḥ |
அங்கே வாசவனாகிய (இந்திரன்) உடன் முப்பத்துமூன்று தேவர்கள் ஒளிவீசித் திகழ்ந்தனர். அவர்களுடன் கந்தர்வர், ராட்சசர், நாகர், பித்ருக்கள், மகரிஷிகளும் இருந்தனர்—பிரபஞ்சத்தின் தர்ம ஒழுங்கைச் சாட்சியாக்கும் பேரவையாக அது தோன்றியது.
