धनंजयस्य आश्वासनम्
Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
उपाशाम्यद् रजो भौम॑ सर्व व्याप्तं मरीचिभि: । दिव्यगन्धानुपादाय वायुर्योधानसेवत
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
upāśāmyad rajo bhaumaṃ sarva-vyāptaṃ marīcibhiḥ |
divya-gandhān upādāya vāyur yodhān asevata ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— பூமியின் தூசி அடங்கியது; ஒளிக்கதிர்கள் எங்கும் பரவின. தெய்வ மணத்தை ஏந்திய காற்று அங்கிருந்த வீரர்களிடையே உலாவி, அவர்களைப் பணிவிடை செய்வதுபோல் தோன்றியது.
