Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
ते त्रिगर्ताश्न मत्स्याश्व संरब्धा युद्धदुर्मदा: । अन्योन्यमभिगर्जन्तो गोषु गृद्धा महाबला:,फिर तो क्रोधमें भरकर युद्धके लिये उन्मत्त हुए वे त्रिगर्त और मत्स्यदेशके महाबली वीर गौओंको ले जानेकी इच्छासे एक-दूसरेको लक्ष्य करके गर्जना करने लगे
te trigartāś ca matsyāś ca saṃrabdhā yuddha-durmadāḥ | anyonyam abhigarjanto goṣu gṛddhā mahābalāḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அப்போது கோபத்தில் கொதித்து, போர்மயக்கத்தில் திளைத்த திரிகர்த்தரும் மச்சியரும், மாடுகளைப் பறிக்க வேண்டிய பேராசையால் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் குறிவைத்து கர்ஜித்தனர்; அவர்கள் அனைவரும் பெருவலிமையுடையோர்.
