Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
संरब्धा: समरे राजन् निजघ्नुरितरेतरम् | निधघ्नन्त: समरे<न्योन्यं शूरा: परिघबाहव:
saṃrabdhāḥ samare rājan nijaghnur itaretaram | nidhaghnantaḥ samare 'nyonyaṃ śūrāḥ parighabāhavaḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அரசே, போரில் கோபம் கொந்தளித்த அவர்கள் ஒருவரையொருவர் வீழ்த்தினர். இரும்புக் கம்பைப் போன்ற வலிய கரங்களுடைய வீரர்கள், போர்க்களத்தில் பரஸ்பரம் இடைவிடாது தாக்கினர்.
