वर्णावकाशमपि मे पश्य पाण्डव यादृशम् । तादृशो मे न तत्रासीद् दु:खे परमके तदा
varṇāvakāśam api me paśya pāṇḍava yādṛśam | tādṛśo me na tatrāsīd duḥkhe paramake tadā
ஓ பாண்டவா! இப்போது எனக்குக் பேசவும் செயல்படவும் உள்ள சிறிதளவு வாய்ப்பைக் கூடப் பார்; அந்நேரம் பேர்த் துயரத்தில் எனக்கு அத்தகைய வாய்ப்பும் இல்லை.
