नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः
Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
आहूय पृथिवीपाल: सत्यधर्मपरायण: । देवने कुशलैर्जिह्नौ्वतं राज्यं वसूनि च
bṛhadaśva uvāca | āhūya pṛthivīpālaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | devane kuśalair jihnaiḥ vṛtaṁ rājyaṁ vasūni ca ||
பிருகதச்வர் கூறினார்— சத்தியமும் தர்மமும் பற்றிய அந்தப் பூபதி அவர்களை அழைத்தான். ஆனால் சூதாட்டத்தில் கபடம் கற்ற நுண்ணறிவாளர்கள் அவனை ஏமாற்றி வென்று, அவனுடைய அரசையும் செல்வங்களையும் பறித்தனர்.
