Sūrya’s Favor and Inexhaustible Provision
इस प्रकार श्रीमह़्ा भारत वनपवकि अन्तर्गत अरण्यपर्वमें काम्यकवनप्रवेशविषयक तीसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ
evaṃgate vidura yad adya kāryaṃ paurāś ca me katham asmān bhajeran | te cāpy asmān noddhareyuḥ samūlāṃs tattvaṃ brūyāḥ sādhu-kāryāṇi vetsīti ||
திருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—“விதுரா! நிலைமை இவ்வளவு தூரம் வந்தபின் இப்போது என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்? நகர மக்கள் எங்களிடம் எவ்வாறு நல்லெண்ணம் கொள்ளுவர்? மேலும் அவர்கள் (பாண்டவர்கள்) எங்களை வேர்-கிளையுடன் முற்றிலும் அகற்றிவிடாதபடி எந்த வழி உண்டோ உண்மையாகச் சொல். நீ நற்காரியமும் நெறியும் அறிந்தவன்; ஆகவே எங்கள் உரிய கடமையைத் தெளிவாகக் கூறு।”
