क्रुद्धों हि कार्य सुश्रोेणि न यथावत् प्रपश्यति । नाकार्य न च मर्यादां नर: क्रुद्धोडनुपश्यति,सुन्दरी! क्रोधी मनुष्य किसी कार्यको ठीक-ठीक नहीं समझ पाता। वह यह भी नहीं जानता कि मर्यादा क्या है (अर्थात् क्या करना चाहिये) और क्या नहीं करना चाहिये
kruddho hi kāryaṃ suśroṇi na yathāvat prapaśyati | nākāryaṃ na ca maryādāṃ naraḥ kruddho'nupaśyati, sundarī |
ஹே அழகிய இடுப்புடையவளே! கோபம் பிடித்த மனிதன் எந்தக் காரியத்தையும் உண்மையாய் காணமாட்டான். செய்யக்கூடாததை அறியான்; ஒழுக்கத்தின் எல்லைகளையும் உணரான்.
