धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Sacrifice Commences and the Pandavas’ Reply to the Invitation
ते वध्यमाना गन्धर्वा: सूतपुत्रेण धीमता
te vadhyamānā gandharvāḥ sūtaputreṇa dhīmatā | āpatad dhi mahāvegaiś citrasenasya sainikaiḥ ||
அறிவுடைய தேரோட்டியின் மகன் கர்ணன் கந்தர்வர்களை வீழ்த்தத் தொடங்கியபோது, சித்ரசேனனின் மிக வேகமான படைகள் தொடர்ந்து பாய்ந்து வந்தன. எவ்வளவு தாக்குதல் அதிகரித்ததோ, அவ்வளவாக அவர்கள் நூறுகளாகவும் ஆயிரங்களாகவும் அங்கே வந்து கூடினர்.
