नानाप्रहरणं घोरमदृश्यत महद् बलम् | तद् वै घोरमसंख्येयं गर्जच्च विविधा गिर:
nānāpraharaṇaṁ ghoraṁ adṛśyata mahad balam | tad vai ghoraṁ asaṅkhyeyaṁ garjacca vividhā giraḥ ||
பலவகை ஆயுதங்களால் ஆயத்தமான ஒரு மாபெரும், கொடிய படை தோன்றியது. அது உண்மையிலேயே அச்சமூட்டும், எண்ணற்றது; பல்வேறு மொழிகளில் கூச்சலிட்டு கர்ஜித்தது.
