उत्पपात दिवं शुभ्र॑ कालेनाभिप्रचोदितम् । ते पिबन्त इवाकाशं त्रासयन्तश्नराचरान्
utpapāta divaṁ śubhraḥ kālenābhipracoditam | te pibanta ivākāśaṁ trāsayantaś carācarān |
மார்க்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—காலத்தின் உந்துதலால் அந்த வெண்மையான ஒளிமிக்கது விண்ணை நோக்கி பாய்ந்தெழுந்தது. அவர்கள் ஆகாயத்தையே குடித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதுபோல் சென்று, அசையும் அசையாத எல்லா உயிர்களையும் அச்சுறுத்தினர்.
