लोगमश उवाच तत: स याजयामास सोमकं तेन जन्तुना | मातरस्तु बलात् पुत्रमपाकर्षु: कृपान्विता:
Lomaśa uvāca tataḥ sa yājayāmāsa Somakaṃ tena jantunā | mātaraḥ tu balāt putram apākarṣuḥ kṛpānvitāḥ ||
லோமசர் கூறினார்— பின்னர் அவன் அந்த உயிருடன் சோமகனை யாகக் கிரியையில் ஈடுபடுத்தினான். ஆனால் தாய்மார்கள் இரக்கத்தால் உந்தப்பட்டு, பலவந்தமாக மகனை இழுத்து அகற்றினர்।
