पुण्याहघोषमिश्रेण पूज्यमाना द्विजातिभि: । वस्त्रै रत्नैरलंकारै: पूजयन्तो द्विजन्मन:

Transliteration

puṇyāhaghoṣamiśreṇa pūjyamānā dvijātibhiḥ | vastrai ratnair alaṅkāraiḥ pūjayanto dvijanmanāḥ ||

Translation

வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்: ‘புண்யாஹ’ எனும் மங்கள வாழ்த்தொலிகள் கலந்த சூழலில் அவர்கள் இருமுறை பிறந்தோரால் பூசிக்கப்பட்டனர்; மேலும் அந்தப் பிராமணப் பிறப்பினர் ஆடைகள், ரத்தினங்கள், அணிகலன்களால் மரியாதை செய்து வழிபட்டனர்.
