The verse emphasizes steadfast intention and the assurance that purposeful action—especially when directed against wrongdoing—can be carried out fully as intended. It highlights resolve and moral clarity in confronting an unjust adversary.
Arjuna addresses a heroic interlocutor and speaks about taking further action concerning the ‘wicked’ person—understood as Duryodhana—affirming that whatever is intended against him will be accomplished exactly according to that intention.
