तवैषा विकृता बुद्धिर्गवां वागिव मानुषी । मनांसि पाण्डुपुत्राणां मज्जयत्यप्लवानिव
tavaiṣā vikṛtā buddhir gavāṁ vāg iva mānuṣī | manāṁsi pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ majjayaty aplavān iva |
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—உன் இந்த விகாரமான புத்தி, மாடுகள் மனித மொழி பேசுவது போல—இயல்பற்றதும் சிதைந்ததும். அதுபோலவே இது பாண்டு புதல்வர்களின் மனங்களை அச்சத்தில் மூழ்கடிக்கிறது; படகில்லாதோர் ஆழ்கடலில் மூழ்குவது போல.
