Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
आददानस्य शत्त्र हि क्षत्रधर्म परीप्सत: | निधन क्षत्रियस्थाजौ वरमेवाहुरुत्तमम्
ādadānasya śastraṃ hi kṣatradharma-parīpsataḥ | nidhanaṃ kṣatriyasya ājau varam evāhur uttamam ||
துருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—ஆயுதங்களை ஏந்தி க்ஷத்திரிய தர்மத்தை நிலைநாட்ட விரும்பும் க்ஷத்திரியனுக்கு, போர்க்களத்தில் ஏற்படும் மரணமே சிறந்ததும் உத்தமமும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது।
