न वै भिन्ना जातु चरन्ति धर्म नवैसुखं प्राप्तुवन्तीह भिन्ना: । नवै भिजन्ना गौरवं प्राप्तुवन्ति न वै भिन्ना: प्रशमं रोचयन्ति,जो परस्पर भेदभाव रखते हैं, वे कभी धर्मका आचरण नहीं करते। वे सुख भी नहीं पाते। उन्हें गौरव नहीं प्राप्त होता तथा उन्हें शान्तिकी वार्ता भी नहीं सुहाती

na vai bhinnā jātu caranti dharmaṁ na vai sukhaṁ prāptuvantīha bhinnāḥ | na vai bhinnā gauravaṁ prāpnuvanti na vai bhinnāḥ praśamaṁ rocayanti ||

ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பிளவுடன் வாழ்வோர் ஒருபோதும் தர்மத்தை நடத்தார். இவ்வுலகில் அவர்கள் இன்பம் பெறார்; மரியாதையும் பெறார்; அமைதியின் பேச்சே அவர்களுக்கு விருப்பமல்ல।
