भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat
तामब्रवीच्च कौरव्य मम माता जले स्थिता । किमर्थ क्लिश्यसे भद्रे तथ्यमेव वदस्व मे
tām abravīc ca kauravya mama mātā jale sthitā | kimarthaṁ kliśyase bhadre tathyam eva vadasva me ||
ராமன் கூறினான்—“கௌரவ குலத்தவனே! என் தாய் நீரில் நின்றிருக்கிறாள். நற்குணமுடையவளே, எதற்காக நீ உன்னை இவ்வளவு வருத்துகிறாய்? எனக்கு உண்மையையே சொல்—தெளிவாகச் சொல்.”
