ततः सूतो मम सुहृच्छरवर्षेण ताडित: । अपयातो रथोपस्थान्मनो मम विषादयन्,उस समय मेरा प्रिय सुहद् सारथि बाणवर्षासे पीड़ित हो मेरे मनको विषादमें डालता हुआ रथकी बैठकसे नीचे गिर गया
tataḥ sūto mama suhṛccharavarṣeṇa tāḍitaḥ | apayāto rathopasthān mano mama viṣādayan |
அப்போது என் அன்பு நலம்விரும்பும் சாரதி, அம்புமழையால் தாக்கப்பட்டு தேரின் இருக்கையிலிருந்து விழுந்தான்; அது என் உள்ளத்தைத் துயரத்தில் ஆழ்த்தியது।
