तमहं गीर्भिरिष्टाभि: पुन: पुनररिंदम | अयाचं भृगुशार्दूलं न चैव प्रशशाम सः

Transliteration

tam ahaṁ gīrbhir iṣṭābhiḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdama | ayācaṁ bhṛguśārdūlaṁ na caiva praśaśāma saḥ ||

Translation

ஓ பகைவரை அடக்கும் வீரனே! ப்ருகுகுலச் சிங்கமான பரசுராமரை நான் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் இனிய, சமாதானப்படுத்தும் சொற்களால் வேண்டினேன்; ஆனால் அவர் சிறிதும் அமைதியடையவில்லை.
