Adhyāya 152: Kaurava-sainyavibhāgaḥ
Division and Standardization of the Kaurava Host
प्रयाणं घुष्यतामद्य श्वोभूत इति मा चिरम् | ते तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय श्वोभूते चक्रिरे तथा
prayāṇaṃ ghuṣyatām adya śvobhūta iti mā ciram | te tatheti pratijñāya śvobhūte cakrire tathā ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—இன்றே புறப்பாட்டை அறிவிக்கட்டும்—‘நாளை விடியற்காலையில்’—தாமதமின்றி. அவர்கள் ‘அப்படியே’ என்று உறுதி கூறி, மறுநாள் காலைக்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை அதன்படி செய்தனர்।
