भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
यदर्थ क्षत्रिया सूते तस्य कालोडयमागत: । न हि वैरं समासाद्य सीदन्ति पुरुषर्षभा:
yadartha kṣatriyā sūte tasya kālo ’yam āgataḥ | na hi vairaṃ samāsādya sīdanti puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
எதற்காகக் க்ஷத்திரியப் பெண் மகனைப் பெறுகிறாளோ, அதற்கான காலம் இப்போது வந்துள்ளது. பகைமை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட பின் சிறந்த ஆண்கள் மனம் தளரார்; தர்மமுடைய பகைமையில் இறங்கியவர்கள் தளர்ச்சியில் வீழ்வதில்லை.
