प्रवर्तनाद् द्वापरस्य यथाभागमुपाश्षुते । कले: प्रवर्तनादू राजा पापमत्यन्तमश्लुते
pravartanād dvāparasya yathābhāgam upāśnute | kaleḥ pravartanād rājā pāpam atyantam aśnute ||
துவாபர யுகத்தை இயக்கினால் அரசன் தக்க அளவில் புண்ணியமும் பாவமும் என இரண்டின் பலனையும் அடைவான்; ஆனால் கலியுகத்தைத் தொடங்கச் செய்தால் அரசன் மிகுந்த பாவத்தைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வான்.
