भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शान्त्युपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel to Duryodhana for Pacification
“जो लोग तुम्हें युद्धके लिये उत्साहित कर रहे हैं, ये कभी तुम्हारे काम नहीं आ सकते। ये युद्धका अवसर आनेपर वैरका बोझ दूसरेके कंधेपर डाल देंगे ।।
vaiśampāyana uvāca | mā jīghnaḥ prajāḥ sarvāḥ putrān bhrātṝṃs tathaiva ca | vāsudevārjunau yatra viddhy ajeyānalaṃ hi tān ||
அனைத்து மக்களும், மகன்களும், சகோதரர்களும் கொல்லப்படுமாறு செய்யாதே. வாசுதேவன் (ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணன்) மற்றும் அர்ஜுனன் எங்கு நிற்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களைப் போரில் அஜேயர் என உறுதியாக அறிந்துகொள்.
