अध्याय १२२ — कृष्णस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛṣṇa’s Ethical Counsel to Duryodhana
श्रोतव्यं हितकामानां सुहृदां हितमिच्छताम् । न कर्तव्यों हि निर्बन्धो निर्बन्धो हि क्षयोदय:
śrotavyaṃ hitakāmānāṃ suhṛdāṃ hitam icchatām | na kartavyo hi nirbandho nirbandho hi kṣayodayaḥ ||
நன்மை நாடும் நண்பர்களின் நல்வாக்கை அவசியம் கேட்க வேண்டும். பிடிவாதத்தை ஒருபோதும் மேற்கொள்ளக் கூடாது; ஏனெனில் அந்தக் கடும்பிடிவாதமே அழிவுக்கும் நாசத்துக்கும் காரணமாகிறது।
