Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
चत्वारश्नाश्रमास्तस्य यो युद्धमनुपालयेत् । जो युद्धधर्मका निरन्तर पालन करता है, उसके लिये यही तपस्या, पुण्य, सनातनधर्म तथा चारों आश्रमोंके नियमोंका पालन है
catvāraś cāśramās tasya yo yuddham anupālayet |
நீதியான போர்-தர்மத்தை உறுதியாகக் காக்கிறவனுக்கு, அதே நடத்தையே தவமும் புண்ணியமும் ஆகும்; அது சனாதன தர்மத்தோடு இசைகிறது; மேலும் அவன் நான்கு ஆசிரமங்களின் ஒழுக்கங்களையும் நிறைவேற்றியதுபோல் ஆகும்.
