सान्त्वनं रक्षणं दानमवस्था चाप्यभीक्षणश: । गोमिनां पार्थ कर्तव्य: संविभाग: प्रियाणि च
sāntvanaṁ rakṣaṇaṁ dānam avasthā cāpy abhīkṣṇaśaḥ | gomināṁ pārtha kartavyaḥ saṁvibhāgaḥ priyāṇi ca ||
ஓ பார்த்தா! மாடுச்செல்வம் உடைய வைசியர்களிடம் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஆறுதல் கூறுதல், பாதுகாப்பளித்தல், பொருள் உதவி வழங்குதல், அவர்களின் நிலை உறுதியாக இருக்க இடையறாது முயல்வது, தேவையானவற்றை அவர்களுடன் பகிர்தல், எப்போதும் அவர்களுக்கு விருப்பமானவற்றைச் செய்தல்—இவை செய்யத்தக்க கடமைகள்.
