वर्जित चैव व्यसनै: सुघोरै: सप्तभिर्भुशम् अष्टानां मन्त्रिणां मध्ये मन्त्र राजोपधारयेत्
varjitaś caiva vyasanaiḥ sughoraiḥ saptabhir bhuśam | aṣṭānāṃ mantriṇāṃ madhye mantraṃ rājopadhārayet ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அரசன் மிகக் கொடிய ஏழு தீய பழக்கங்களிலிருந்து முற்றிலும் விலகியிருக்க வேண்டும். அதன் பின் எட்டு அமைச்சர்களின் நடுவில் அமர்ந்து, ரகசியமாக ஆலோசனை நடத்த வேண்டும்.
