ब्राह्मण उवाच आगतोऊहं महाभाग तव दर्शनलालस: । कंचिदर्थमनर्थज्ञ: प्र््धकामो भुजड्रम

Transliteration

brāhmaṇa uvāca: āgato ’haṃ mahābhāga tava darśana-lālasaḥ | kañcid arthaṃ anartha-jñaḥ pṛthak-kāmo bhujaṅgama ||

Translation

பிராமணன் கூறினான்—ஓ பெருமைமிக்க நாகராஜனே, உம்மைக் காணும் ஆவலால் நான் இங்கு வந்தேன். எனக்கே அதன் உண்மைத் தாத்பரியம் அறியாத ஒரு விஷயத்தை உம்மிடம் கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன், ஓ பாம்பரசே.
