सो<$तिथिरवी॑चनं तस्य श्र॒ुत्वा धर्माभिभाषिण: । प्रोवाच वचन “लक्षण प्राज्ञो मधुरया गिरा,धर्मयुक्त वचन बोलनेवाले उस ब्राह्मणकी बात सुनकर उस विद्वान् अतिथिने मधुर वाणीमें यह उत्तम वचन कहा
so 'tithir avīcanaṁ tasya śrutvā dharmābhibhāṣiṇaḥ | provāca vacanaṁ lakṣaṇa-prājño madhurayā girā ||
தர்மத்திற்கேற்ற சொற்களை உரைத்த அந்தப் பிராமணனின் வார்த்தைகளை கேட்டதும், நல்வழியின் இலக்கணங்களை உணர்ந்த ஞானமிகு அதிதி இனிய குரலில் சிறந்த அறிவுரையைச் சொன்னான்.
