Nārāyaṇasya Guhya-nāmāni Niruktāni (Etymologies of Nārāyaṇa’s Secret Epithets) / नारायणस्य गुह्यनामानि निरुक्तानि
अकर्तारममूर्त च भगवानाह तीर्थवित् | मोक्षके उपायको जाननेवाले भगवान् नारायण कहते हैं कि आदि-अन्तसे रहित, अविनाशी, अकर्ता और निराकार जीवात्मा इस शरीरमें स्थित है
akartāram amūrtaṃ ca bhagavān āha tīrthavit | mokṣake upāyako jñānan-evale bhagavān nārāyaṇaḥ kathayati yathā ādi-antase rahitaḥ avināśī akartā nirākāraḥ jīvātmā asmin śarīre sthitaḥ |
அகர்த்தா, அமூர்த்தன் என்று தீர்த்தவித் பகவான் உரைக்கிறார். மோக்ஷத்தின் வழியை அறிந்த பகவான் நாராயணன் கூறுகிறான்: ஆதியும் அந்தமும் அற்ற, அழிவிலா, செயற்படாத, உருவமற்ற ஜீவாத்மா இவ்வுடலில் நிலைகொண்டுள்ளது.
