anena vidhinā kārṣṇis tad ahaḥ śeṣam acyutaḥ | tāṃ ca rātriṃ nṛpakule vartayāmāsa bhārata bharatanandana ||
பாரத குலத்தோனே! இவ்விதமாக மரியாதையிலிருந்து வழுவாத கார்ஷ்ணி (சுகர்) அந்த நாளின் மீதிப் பகுதியையும் அந்த முழு இரவையும் அரசகுல மாளிகையிலேயே கழித்தார்.
