देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
ध्वानो भीषणकाया अयोमुखानि वयांसि बलगृध्रकुलपक्षिणां च संघा: । नरकदने रुधिरपा गुरुवचन- नुदमुपरतं विशसन्ति
dhvāno bhīṣaṇakāyā ayomukhāni vayāṁsi balagṛdhrakulapakṣiṇāṁ ca saṅghāḥ | narakadane rudhirapā guruvacana-nudam uparataṁ viśasanti ||
வியாசர் கூறினார்—குருமார்களும் மூத்தோர்களும் விதித்த ஆணைகளை மீறுவோர் மரணத்திற்குப் பின் நரகத்தில் பிடிக்கப்படுவர். அங்கே அச்சமூட்டும் பெருஞ்சரீர நாய்கள், இரும்புச் சொண்டையுடைய பறவைகள், காகம்-கழுகு முதலிய கொடுஞ்சிறகுப் பறவைகளின் கூட்டங்கள், இரத்தம் குடிக்கும் புழுக்கள் ஆகியவை அவர்களின் வேதனை உடல்மேல் பாய்ந்து கிழித்து, கொத்தி, கடித்து வெட்டுகின்றன.
