Royal Duty, Lawful Discipline, and the Question of Agency
स्वधर्मे वर्तमानस्य सापवादे5पि भारत । एवमात्मपरित्यागस्तव राजन् न शोभन:
svadharme vartamānasya sāpavāde 'pi bhārata | evam ātmaparityāgas tava rājan na śobhanaḥ ||
வியாசர் கூறினார்— ஓ பாரதா! தன் ச்வதர்மத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பவனுக்கு, அது பழிப்புக்குரியதாக இருந்தாலும், ஓ அரசே! இவ்வாறு தன்னைத் துறப்பது உனக்குச் சிறந்ததல்ல.
