दण्डो यत्राविनीतेषु सत्कारश्न कृतात्मसु । चरेत् तत्र वसेच्चैव पुण्यशीलेषु साधुषु
daṇḍo yatrāvinīteṣu satkāraś ca kṛtātmasu | caret tatra vasec caiva puṇyaśīleṣu sādhuṣu ||
எங்கு கட்டுப்பாடற்றவர்களுக்கு நீதியான தண்டனை வழங்கப்படுகிறதோ, எங்கு தன்னடக்கம் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு உரிய மரியாதை செய்யப்படுகிறதோ, அங்கு புண்ணியசீலமான நல்லோரிடையே நடமாடியும் வாழ்ந்தும் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
