शुक्ल: शुक्लाभिजातीय: साध्यो नावर्ततेडनघ । तिर्यग्गतेश्व निर्मुक्तो निरयाच्च पितामह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śuklaḥ śuklābhijātīyaḥ sādhyo nāvartate 'nagha |
tiryaggateṣv anirmukto nirayāc ca pitāmaha ||
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—பாவமற்ற பிதாமகனே! அவன் ‘சுக்லன்’—தூய குலத்தில் பிறந்தவன்; இயல்பிலும் தூயவன். அவன் உண்மையில் சாத்ய தேவனே போலும்; ஆகையால் மீண்டும் உலக வாழ்விற்கு திரும்புவதில்லை. அவன் மிருக-பறவைப் பிறவிகளிலிருந்தும் நரகத்திலிருந்தும் விடுபட்டான், பிதாமகனே।
