अध्याय २५६ — श्रद्धा, अहिंसा, स्पर्धा-त्यागः
Tūlādhāra–Jājali: Faith, Non-harm, and Renunciation of Rivalry
उपायमन्यं सम्पश्य भूतानां हितकाम्यया । यथामी जन्तव: सर्वे न दहेरन् पितामह,पितामह! आप सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंके हितके लिये संहारका कोई दूसरा ही उपाय सोचिये, जिससे ये सारे जीव-जन्तु एक साथ ही दन्ध न हो जायँ
upāyam anyaṃ sampaśya bhūtānāṃ hitakāmyayā | yathā ime jantavaḥ sarve na dahyeran pitāmaha pitāmaha ||
நாரதர் கூறினார்—பிதாமஹனே! எல்லா உயிர்களின் நலனைக் கருதி, அழிவிற்கான வேறு வழியை யோசிக்கவும்; இவ்வனைத்து உயிர்களும் ஒரே நேரத்தில் எரிந்து அழியாதபடி.
