अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः

त्रैलोक्यभावनास्तात प्राच्यां सप्तर्षयस्तथा । तात! मेधातिथिके पुत्र कण्वमुनि, बर्हिषद तथा त्रिलोकीको उत्पन्न करनेमें समर्थ सप्तर्षिगण हैं, जो पूर्व दिशामें स्थित होते हैं
trailokya-bhāvanās tāta prācyāṃ saptaṛṣayas tathā |
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—மகனே, கிழக்குத் திசையிலும் சப்தரிஷிகள் இருக்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் மூவுலகையும் தோற்றுவித்து தாங்கும் ஆற்றல் உடையவர்கள்.
