ततस्तीक्ष्णाग्रदशनो मणिवैदूर्यलोचन: । मूषिकं मन्दमुद्वीक्ष्य मार्जारो लोमशोडब्रवीत्
tatas tīkṣṇāgradāśano maṇivaidūryalocanaḥ | mūṣikaṃ mandam udvīkṣya mārjāro lomaśo 'bravīt ||
பின்னர் கூர்மையான முன்பற்களும் வைதூர்ய மணிபோல் மின்னும் கண்களும் உடைய லோமசன் எனும் பூனை, எலியை மெதுவாக நோக்கி இவ்வாறு கூறியது.
