Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
ते वयं स्वर्गमिच्छन्त: संग्रामे त्यक्तजीविता: । जयन्तो वध्यमाना वा प्राप्रुयाम च सद्गतिम्
te vayaṁ svargam icchantaḥ saṅgrāme tyaktajīvitāḥ | jayanto vadhyamānā vā prāpnuyāma ca sadgatiṁ ||
ஆகவே தீர்மானியுங்கள்—சுவர்க்கத்தை நாடி, போரில் உயிர்மேல் பற்றைத் துறந்து போராடுவோம். வென்றாலும், போரில் வீழ்ந்தாலும், நமக்கு நற்கதி கிடைக்கும்.
