विमृज्य नेत्रे पाणिभ्यां शोकजं बाष्पमुत्सूजन्‌ । कृपादीन्‌ स तदा वीरान्‌ सवनिव नराधिप:

Transliteration

vimṛjya netre pāṇibhyāṃ śokajaṃ bāṣpam utsṛjan | kṛpādīn sa tadā vīrān savaniva narādhipaḥ ||

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்— இரு கைகளாலும் கண்களைத் துடைத்து, துயரத்தால் பிறந்த கண்ணீரைச் சிந்தியவாறே, அந்த மன்னன் அப்போது க்ருபர் முதலிய வீரர்களை நோக்கி உரைத்தான்.
