Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)
अस्मत्कृते त्वया कृष्ण वाच: सुपरुषा: श्रुता: । शस्त्राणां च निपाता वै वज्रस्पर्शोपमा रणे
asmatkṛte tvayā kṛṣṇa vācaḥ supuruṣāḥ śrutāḥ | śastrāṇāṃ ca nipātā vai vajrasparśopamā raṇe ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— ஓ கிருஷ்ணா! எங்கள் பொருட்டே நீ பல கூர்மையான, காயப்படுத்தும் சொற்களைச் சகித்தாய்; மேலும் போரில் வஜ்ரத் தொடுதல்போன்ற ஆயுதத் தாக்குதல்களையும் தாங்கினாய். இவ்வாறு உன் தரப்பின் தர்மத்தை நிலைநிறுத்த வாக்காலும் உடலாலும் வரும் துன்பத்தை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டாய்.
