शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

शूराणामरर्यवृत्तानां संग्रामेष्वनिवर्तिनाम्‌ । धीमतां सत्यसंधानां सर्वेषां क्रतुयाजिनाम्‌

Transliteration

śūrāṇām araryavṛttānāṁ saṅgrāmeṣv anivartinām | dhīmatāṁ satyasaṁdhānāṁ sarveṣāṁ kratuyājinām ||

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அவர்கள் ஆரிய நெறியுடைய வீரர்கள்; போரில் ஒருபோதும் பின்வாங்காதவர்கள்—ஞானமிக்கோர், சத்தியத்திலும் வாக்குறுதியிலும் உறுதியானோர், அனைவரும் புனித யாகங்களைச் செய்பவர்கள்.
