वहाँ महातपस्वी त्रितमुनि धर्मपरायण होकर रहते थे। उन महात्माने कुएँमें रहकर ही सोमपान किया था ।।
tatra cainaṃ samutsṛjya bhrātarau jagmatur gṛhān | tatas tau vai śaśāpātha trito brāhmaṇasattamaḥ ||
அங்கே அவனை விட்டுவிட்டு அவனுடைய இரு சகோதரரும் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்றனர்; அதன்பின் பிராமணர்களில் சிறந்த திரிதன் அவர்களிருவரையும் சபித்தான்.
