गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
सूच्यग्रं नात्यज: पूर्व स कथं त्यजसि क्षितिम् | एवमैश्वर्यमासाद्य प्रशास्यथ पृथिवीमिमाम्
sūcyagraṁ nātyajaḥ pūrvaṁ sa kathaṁ tyajasi kṣitim | evamaiśvaryam āsādya praśāsyatha pṛthivīm imām ||
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—“முன்பு நீ ஊசியின் முனையையும் கூட விட்டுவிட மாட்டாய்; அப்படியிருக்க இப்போது இந்தப் பூமியையே எப்படித் துறக்கிறாய்? இத்தகைய ஐஸ்வர்யத்தை அடைந்து, இந்தப் பூமியையே ஆள்ந்து காக்க வேண்டும்.”
