धृतराष्ट्रने पूछा--विदुर! पाण्डवलोग यहाँ जो भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकारकी चेष्टाएँ करते हुए यात्रा कर रहे हैं, उसका क्या रहस्य है, यह बताओ। वे क्यों इस प्रकार जा रहे हैं? ।।
vidura uvāca | nikṛtasya api te punaḥ traihate rājye dhaneṣu ca | na dharmāc calate buddhir dharmarājasya dhīmataḥ ||
விதுரன் சொன்னான்—மகாராஜா! உங்கள் புதல்வர்கள் வஞ்சகத்தால் பாண்டவர்களின் அரசையும் செல்வத்தையும் பறித்தாலும், பேரறிவுடைய தர்மராஜன் யுதிஷ்டிரனின் மனம் தர்மத்திலிருந்து சாயாது.
