शारदोत्पलपत्राक्ष्या शारदोत्पलगन्धया । शारदोत्पलसेविन्या रूपेण श्रीसमानया
śāradotpalapatrākṣyā śāradotpalagandhayā | śāradotpalasevinyā rūpeṇa śrīsamanayā ||
அவளுடைய கண்கள் சரத்காலத்தில் மலர்ந்த தாமரை இதழ்களைப் போல அகன்றும் அழகுமாக உள்ளன; அவளுடைய உடலிலிருந்து சரத்காலத் தாமரையின் மணம் பரவுகிறது; அவள் சரத்காலத் தாமரைகளில் மகிழ்கிறாள்; அழகில் அவள் ஸ்ரீ (லக்ஷ்மி)யே ஒப்பானவள்.
