Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality

धूमकेतु: शिखी च त्वं पापहानिलसम्भव: । सर्वप्राणिषु नित्यस्थ: सत्येन विपुनीहि माम्‌

dhūmaketuḥ śikhī ca tvaṁ pāpahānila-sambhavaḥ | sarva-prāṇiṣu nitya-sthaḥ satyena vipunīhi mām, deva ||

சஹதேவன் வேண்டினான்—ஓ தேவனே! புகை உன் கொடியாகும்; நீ சிகை (அக்கினிச் சுடர்) தாங்கியவன்; காற்றினால் வெளிப்படுபவன்; பாவங்களை அழிப்பவன். எல்லா உயிர்களிலும் நீ எந்நாளும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறாய். உன் சத்தியத்தின் வலிமையால் என்னைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்து.
