Arjuna’s Northern Conquests and Tribute Collection
विष्णो समवसतन्नानां गिरिदुर्गे सुदारुणे । दिष्ट्या मोक्षाद् यशो दीप्तमाप्तं॑ ते यदुनन्दन
viṣṇo samavasatannānāṁ giridurge sudāruṇe | diṣṭyā mokṣād yaśo dīptam āptaṁ te yadunandana ||
விஷ்ணுவே! மிகக் கொடிய மலைக்கோட்டையில் சிறைப்பட்டு நாங்கள் பெருந்துயரில் நாட்களை கழித்தோம். யதுநந்தனே! இப்பெரும் அபாயத்திலிருந்து விடுவித்து நீ ஒளிவீசும் புகழைப் பெற்றாய்; இது பெரும் நல்வாழ்வு.
