नदीं प्रवर्तयित्वा च बीभत्सु: परवीरहा । वासुदेवमिदं वाक्यमब्रवीत् पुरुषर्षभ:
nadīṁ pravartayitvā ca bībhatsuḥ paravīrahā | vāsudevam idaṁ vākyam abravīt puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—நதியை ஓடச் செய்த பின், எதிர்வீரர்களை அழிப்பவன் பீபத்ஸு அர்ஜுனன்—மனிதர்களில் முதன்மையானவன்—வாசுதேவனிடம் இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்.
